Professional Instruction at Blue Oak Stables

At Blue Oak Stables, we proudly partner with experienced, independent trainers who offer lessons and horse training on-site at our facility. Whether you’re brand new to the saddle or a seasoned rider working toward competition goals, we provide a welcoming space for learning, growth, and connection, with your horse and with the riding community.

Our training program supports riders of all ages and experience levels, from first-time horse handlers to competitive riders preparing for shows and events. Lessons are offered in both private and group settings, depending on availability and goals.

Whether you're learning to tack up for the first time or working toward a polished show performance, our trainers tailor each session to the individual goals and needs of horse and rider. Lessons may include:

Training Facility

All training and lessons take place at Blue Oak Stables, utilizing  professional-grade amenities:

  • 100’ x 220’ partially covered arena with Olympic footing

  • Round pen for groundwork

  • Safe, quiet environment for focus and progress

  • Convenient access to paddocks, wash racks, and tack storage

While our trainers operate independently, we work closely with them to ensure seamless integration with the care and rhythm of the barn.
